By irrationally targeting Russia with a new round of sanctions, the US is directly targeting the EU, a staunch ally.
Sanctions have been proven to have very limited effect, yet Congress continues to pour them on anyone they perceive as an enemy, or more likely, on anyone they wish to turn into an enemy of the US and the, taken for granted, "allies and friends" of the US.
Only now, these "allies and friends" have come to realise that blindly doing the bidding of their master from across the Atlantic, is costing them dearly in real monetary terms and they are finally beginning to raise their voice.
The irony is, that these new sanctions on Russia, almost unanimously passed by Congress, have to do with the ludicrous claim that the Russians helped place Trump in the White House, although nobody has been in a position to explain how they pulled off such a "neat trick". Yet, Trump will be forced to accept the will Congress.
P.S. "Congress" is the collective noun for baboons. Perhaps that's just a coincidence.
The warning of another, devastating Europe-U.S. banking crash before the end of this year, raised by EIR in May and by a meeting of European Parliamentarians in early July, is becoming an emergency danger. It requires a mobilization of actions to stop it.
The Italian banking system, which has just suffered three major bank bailouts combined with "bail-ins" of unlucky savers, is trying to raise capital it cannot raise, to prevent a potential collapse which could take Germany's banks down with it. U.S.-based banks have $2 trillion of exposure to that looming collapse of bad debt and worse derivatives, centered in London.
Those Wall Street banks, unpunished and bailed out since 2008, have rapidly built up bubbles of corporate debt and commercial real estate derivatives larger than the mortgage-debt bubbles which blew out back then; and default rates and bankruptcy rates are now rising sharply in those bubbles. A scared Federal Reserve has not raised interest rates enough, yet, to trigger the crash that the IMF, for example, is warning of; but by postponing the crash trigger, it is only making it more economically devastating when it comes.
I support the party 'the left' because they defend principles such as: NATO is abolished, no German support for us wars, Verfassungsschutz Abolition, dictatorship of financial markets must end. As soon as the party gets soft on these issues, I'm gone. (thanks Michael Schäfer)

Joo, kyllä. On olemassa tiettyjä fasistisia piirteitä, mutta nationalismin esittäminen fasistisena piirteenä ja maailmanhallituksen esittäminen lopullisena vaihtoehtona on monella tapaa ongelmallinen.
Esimerkiksi, ihan kuten kansalaiset äänestämällä demokratioissa muodostavat kansallisvaltion, sen maailmanhallituksen (eli jonkin ylikansallisen päätöksentekoelimen kuten esimerkiksi YK on) muodostavat demokratiassa kansallisvaltiot.
Kaveri on fiksu, mutta ei edes lahjakas kosmologi muutu yhteiskuntatieteilijäksi kolumnistina. Eikä varsinkaan pitäisi harrastaa fasismikortin heittelyä.
Lisäksi, vihjaus persujen fasistisista piirteistä. Jos hän haluaa politikoida ja puhua paskaa, tekisi sen edes suoraan sanomalla ja rehellisesti, eikä kielikukkailisi, että voi tarvittaessa sanoa "en minä näin sanonut".
